I am no saint, I ain’t no evil;

I am not a palate of colours, nor am I shades of grey;

I am no summer sun, I ain’t no autumn wind;

I am no act of sin, I ain’t no pot of virtues;

I am not a vow, I ain’t no promises broken;

Just another cocoon of words waiting to be set free!

Anuradha, an MBA student, an avid reader, a hopeful singer, an amateur painter, an opinionated person. Adjectives one too many-yes!!! That doesn’t make me perfect, not in my own eyes at least!

The use of words fascinates me. How they can make or break relationships-personal and professional, is something I have been longing to figure out. This blog is a mere outlet of my opinion on random topics. This is just me-unedited!

Hope you enjoy reading this blog.  Praises will be gladly entertained. Critiques will be appreciated. Reading suggestions are something I look forward to! :)

  1. Thanks Yameen! Glad you liked it. Keep your comments coming in. Look forward to your inputs. Unlike you, I am no literary genius. So this comment from you comes as a pleasant surprise! :)

  2. You have zapped me. Suddenly you appeared on my blogpost on ‘A Journey’ and when I come here to learn something about you, I find that you have blogrolled me in your blog. Let me just say that I like what I see in your blog but may not be able to comment on some of the subjects. I promise to visit your blog regularly and comment wherever I can. Do feel free to let fly at my posts often.

    • My apologies Sir. My intention was not to have you zapped for sure.Its surely an honour to have your comment here on my blog. I got hooked on to your blog, thanks to Ashok. I am infact a regular reader of all the LBC posts and find myself looking forward to Fridays. I am very new to blogging and my writing is still in its crude stages. I hope to learn a lot reading all of your blogs. I can safely say I am a fan of your writing. I do look forward to more ‘wisdom by hindsight’! :)

  3. Anu-I tried to click on your name when you became a follower, it didn’t work. I am so glad to finally find you. To answer your question, yes you can join our Tuesday Morning Writing group. All that is required is to choose one of the pictures on my “A Creative Writer In Progress: blog. Post it at 8:00 AM, Central Standard Time. If you are in India, this equates to 7:00 PM Tuesday. If you are in the UK, I believe, the time would be 1:00 PM Tuesday. In Scotland or Ireland, I think the time will be 2:00 PM. Thanks for your interest and I hope to see your contribution on Tuesday! Thanks for your comments!

    • Thanks Grannymar! I’m truly honoured! :)

      Do check out the reading suggestions page on the blog and let me know if there are any books that you’d recommend. I’d be glad to have them on my list and read them when I get the chance to.

      • Anu, you will learn as you get to know me that reading is a problem for me. A book would take me a year to read! Words jump about on the page. I read a paragraph to discover the words, a second time to discover the sentences and the third to get the meaning. Often if there is noise about or distraction, I find myself reading the same lines six times. I do try to read a few books each year, they would be of the lighter variety and usually recommended to me by Elly. She is the bookworm in the family and is to words, what a sponge is to water.
